Basketball season is fast approaching, and that means Pep Band and Concession Stand! The Music Boosters’ biggest fundraiser of the year is running concessions for all Boys Basketball home games, and it takes lots of help to make it happen. You’ll have a lot of fun, spend time with your Band family and get to hear your students play in the Pep Band.

It takes on average 12 people working together to keep up with the crowds and keep the fans fed and happy. All band and choir parents are encouraged to jump in a few times to help us raise funds for our music students. We also expect all of the band and choir students to volunteer, as they benefit directly from the funds raised, and this year we have a shift just for Pep Band members to be able to help.

We have all kinds of jobs, and when you come we’ll find a spot for you that works best for you and the team:
• Grillers
• Set up/clean up
• Order takers
• Assemblers
• Smoothie makers
• Popcorn makers
• Food runners
• Order fillers
• Cashiers

No previous experience required! We’d love to see some new faces and we can assure you that the students love to see you as well, as this directly benefits what they love.

The dates of all games are listed below. Shifts will be as follows, but if you can only be there for part of a shift, please sign up anyway!

• Opening Crew (Pep Band only): 2:30 – 5:00 – this gives you a free hour before pep band starts at 6:00.
• First shift: 3:30 – 7:00 – We need a few volunteers to get started at 3:30 setting up the grill and preparing the food for the 4:30 opening time, but if you can’t make it at 3:30, please go ahead and sign up and come when you can!
• Second Shift: 7:00 – 10:00, or whenever the game wraps up and we close up the stand. We start closing up during the 4th quarter, so most people will be finished about the same time as your Pep Band students.
