This is the first performance for the 2018 Madison Marching Band. Students who will be in 9-12 grade for the 2018-19 school year will participate.

As of 6/27. Times are mostly “best guesses”
8:00am – Meet/Load
8:45 – Depart
9:15 – Arrive at the fairgrounds. We will unload and warm up briefly.
10:00 – Step off
11:00 – Parade ends, load near the courthouse
11:30 – Depart
12:00 – Arrive at school and unload

Attire:
Red band polos (tucked in)
Khaki shorts (NOT jeans or black or anything else)
**Color guard members wear plain black, athletic-type shorts
Gym shoes (NOT sandals, boots, chuck taylors, or “skate” shoes)
No hats or sunglasses allowed on the parade route. Ladies, hair back in pony tails.

This is a performance, not a fashion show. The goal is to look as professional as possible while still in semi-comfortable clothing.
BACK IN MY DAY (to be read in old-man-voice) we wore full uniforms in parades.
